And back in after a tiny break, this time turning left at the dropoff.
Incredible
view of the wall, endless water, water everywhere, massive rocks, fields
of "grass" (reeds), thousands of little black fish suspended like stars
in the sky... wow. BC worked like a charm this time, banged
my leg a bit on a tight passage though. The route back was more shallow,
spotted half a dozen spiky fireworms, lots of beautiful big brown/black
sea urchins (rizzi in Malti) and one mutant purple whelk.
For the first time I felt like a pro -- great dive!
